BIOGRAPHY

Amber Word embraces the play between bold and subtle lines, bold colors, and delicate fades. Specializing in a unique technique known as "Wood Batik", each piece is imbued with an aspect of the unseen, of overcoming the confines of everyday reality. It is this aspect of porosity and transcending cyclic holding patterns that she aims to bring to all those who view her pieces.

Currently based out of Jemez Springs, NM a. word is also a jewelry designer and loves creating art and jewelry based on resonant places and the flora and fauna that call them home.
